Yes I Did Friday! - Updated!

It's Friday again, which means it's time to talk about all the things I Did!  Remember, Jeanette's the one hosting this, so run on over there to see what everyone else did this week!

I did avoid answering the phone when my sister called - twice.  She was whiny and I'd already talked to her that day and I so did not want to listen to her whine anymore!

I did eat a piece of cake after breakfast yesterday.  And then I did feel nauseous.  Unfortunately I probably did not learn my lesson, and probably will do it again at some point.  But not anytime soon!

I did feel very proud of Christopher who had a fantastic day yesterday at school!  He got to share his "Me Bag" (basically show and tell - but specifically a few of his favorite thing that show who he is) and did it perfectly with no issues at all!

I did make a big pot of potato soup all by myself with no recipe!  And I am not a cook!  And it even tasted good.  I do still have lots of leftovers.  Anyone want to come over for lunch?

And yes I did become a collectible over at the creamery!  Thank you Whimsey! Although I must say, it's a little stuffy here in your curio cabinet.

I'll take some soup! It's that kind of day. Cake for breakfast and not answering the phone - you are channeling me. Your wrong profile: lol.

I ignored my daughter's phone call because she was in a whiney I'm right there with you on that one.

Cake is good any time of the day!

Yay! Company for lunch. Although it's a little late now. You'll have to come for dinner. But I'll give you cake too :)

Glad I'm not the only one ignoring whiny phone calls!

Good job on the soup! And I could eat cake anytime!

If your sister follows your blog, she will probably be calling again after reading that! lol. I loved your post, thanks for joining in!

Next time, instead of eating cake AFTER breakfast...just eat cake FOR breakfast! See, problem solved, ha!

I promise to let you out from time to time so you can wander the floors and play with the cats. Which is sort of what I assume some of the salt and pepper shakers do.... when they come alive.... and freak me out.... and then I can't sleep at night because I imagine weird little salt and pepper shaker doo-dads looking in on me while I sleep.

I'll gladly join you for some of that after-breakfast cake, though.

I haven't told anyone in my family. other than my husband, about my blog. If I did then they'd read it!! Then where would I complain about them? :)

Cake for breakfast? What was I thinking?! Of course! Makes much better sense. And, it saves on calories too. So it's diet friendly. Shana, you're a genius!

Whimsy, if that's what your salt and pepper shakers do, I am going to have so much fun in your curio cabinet! I can just see myself staging little palace revolts with all of them... moving your slippers around while you sleep :) And you are welcome anytime for cake!
